The journey from Manavgat to Cappadocia unfolds through the majestic High Mountains, revealing the untouched beauty and traditional life of Anatolia.
Cappadocia: A Cultural Odyssey Over Two Days
Setting out from Manavgat, located approximately 440 kilometers from Cappadocia, this cultural expedition includes a night’s stay, allowing for an in-depth exploration of the region. The landscape of Cappadocia, shaped by the eruptions of the Erciyes, Hasan, and Gullu mountains and sculpted by the forces of the Kizilirmak river and wind, presents an awe-inspiring tableau of natural chimney rocks and formations.
A Glimpse into Ancient Civilizations
Cappadocia’s rich tapestry of history is woven with the narratives of ancient civilizations, including the Hittites, Phrygians, Persians, Byzantines, Seljuks, and Ottomans. The early Christians, fleeing persecution from the Roman Empire in the second century BC, found refuge in Cappadocia’s underground cities. Ingeniously hidden to evade detection, these subterranean sanctuaries were equipped with essentials such as supply rooms, ventilation systems, wineries, churches, monasteries, wells, baths, and meeting spaces, providing a safe haven from Roman soldiers.
Experience the Authentic Anatolia
This two-day adventure not only reveals the natural wonders of Cappadocia but also introduces travelers to one of the largest Caravanserais in Anatolia near Aksaray, offering a journey back in time to the authentic heart of Turkey. Visiting Goreme’s underground city, chimney structures, and valleys was an amazing experience! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and our driver was excellent. It was a long day, but it was well worth it!
This tour was the best way to see Cappadocia! Tariq was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went over everything with us in great detail. We were picked up from our hotel without incident and treated with exceptional hospitality throughout. Thank you very much for your excellent service.
The guide was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. If you want to see all of Cappadocia in two days, this is the tour for you. This tour is highly recommended, and you should request Kemal as your guide. He was truly perfect.
Except for the very early pick-up, the entire day was perfect!! Mehmet, our tour guide, was hilarious, informative, and accommodating! Definitely contact this company; they provide everything and are extremely organized and communicative.
The tour was very well organized. The rock formations and the Goreme Museum were fascinating. The guide was friendly and informative. Thank you!
We booked this trip online, and the customer service was great in answering our questions. My girlfriend was so excited to visit Cappadocia. Besides the planned sightseeing, we added a few extras. On the first evening, we attended a traditional Turkish night – it cost extra, but it was worth it! The next morning, before the tour, we took a hot air balloon ride. Watching the sunrise from a balloon was spectacular. The view was breathtaking, and I was overwhelmed with emotions! Highly recommended!
A tour designed for every preference! If you only have a few days left in Manavgat, this is the right tour for you. I just returned yesterday and feel so happy to have joined. We are on vacation with friends and their children, so we were quite a large group. The tour operator was brilliant and very helpful. Traveling through Cappadocia is an experience in itself. We were blown away by the views! The hotel accommodation was great, and we all felt comfortable. Excellent! Bravo!
